User Guide
Connection Levels
You have a finer control of who can see your events using our carefully designed connection levels:
Acquaintance
Someone you have met and talked with before, and want to stay connected to develop deeper connection.
Friends
Someone you met more than once and you know the basics about each other.
Close Friends
Someone you can trust and count on, who has earned your trust to certain degree.
* Here are just some basic suggestions. You decide ultimately who you would call friend.
Event Visibility
If you can see an event, it means you are invited!
Sequential Order
Visibility follows a sequential order of importance. E.g. Your close friends will be able to see your events with friends level visibility; your friends will see your events created for acquaintances.
Community Event
When you create an event with Community visibility, your connections (acquaintances, friends, close friends) will see it right away after its creation. Once it is reviewed and approved, it will be pushed to other users (not your connection) selectively and smartly.
Profile Page Attribute Visibility
We engineered a sophisticated visibility control to help you design who can see what on your profile page. So you can share who you are to your friends and to the world confidently.
Sequential Order
Visibility follows a similar sequential order as in Events.
Matching Tag
In addition to the sequential order, if the Only visible to folks with the same Tag box is checked, only users with the exact same tag (case-insensitive) for some time period can see this tag attribute.
Review Result
Only Community events will need to be reviewed. After approval, they will be released to all local users selectively. You will get email notification about the review result.
Approved
It will be pushed to local users' calendar and email feeds selectively.
Promoted
It will be pushed to local users' calendar and email feeds extensively.
Blocked
It will only be pushed to your connections' calendar and email feeds.
